The Customer

Sagicor Life Insurance Company is a full-service life insurance company that is licensed in 45 states, plus the District of Columbia. As a full-service financial institution, they provide banking, investments, life and health insurance, pensions, and real estate services with 10+ billion in assets.

There was rapid growth in the technical team. The test team lacked experience using test management best practices. A small QA team was also responsible for 100+ projects with shifting priorities.

Our team worked with the client to provide a customized approach to their quality needs. This included

  • A detailed assessment of their organization’s test maturity (TMMi) with recommended tools and improvement roadmap
  • Created training material and process for the utilization of test case management, mobile app simulators, and banking-specific test tools
  • Revamped and maintained manual test suite to cover core areas of the product’s end-to-end integration points, making validation of acquiring and issuing credit card testing faster
